VEX Robotics
VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone! With the VEX Robotics system, learners will build highly functional robots, and prior knowledge in robotics is not required. The VEX equipment provides a wide variety of parts supporting learners in building anything they can imagine as they continue to develop their skills. Come learn with us in a friendly, fun, and challenging environment!
Robotics
Robotics class at the Duneland Family YMCA has the ability to take learners beyond basic science and engineering principles, while encouraging creativity, teamwork, leadership, problem solving, and more.
Classes incorporate a variety of important skills, including building, coding, driving, and competing. The fundamentals of STEM are learned through exploration and engaging, hands-on experiences.
Registration is open for monthly sessions. Class meets once per week for 1 hour each week.
Class is multi-age and is appropriate for age 5 through adulthood. Parent/guardian support may be required for some participants. Instructors will differentiate experiences based on skills, goals and interest of participants.
