Due to its passive, yet challenging nature, Yin yoga combines the benefits of meditative exploration and gentle movement. It is the perfect complement to other forms of exercise and may just be the missing link to complete your journey to complete well-being. Yin yoga is celebrated for soothing anxiety, calming an overwhelmed nervous system, releasing chronic tension, facilitating range of motion, deepening self-awareness and leaving you feeling in a state of deep bliss.

No yoga or meditation experience is necessary, but being able to get up and down from the floor is necessary. Also, please discuss with your doctor if this type of stretching is not recommended for your condition. Floor and prop-supported postures are entered slowly, explored dynamically and then held static for one to five minutes. The experience will also include a 15-20 minute guided meditation and sound therapy with vibrational sounds are added during the final relaxation.

Please bring a yoga mat, eye pillow, blanket & firm pillow, such as a bolster. Straps and blocks will be provided.
