We are excited to be partnering with the Portage YMCA to offer Homeschool Swim and Gym!

Portage YMCA will offer the Gym on Fridays from 10a-11a, and Duneland YMCA is hosting the Swim on Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30 at the Healthy Living Campus.

Swim into aquatic fun with our YMCA Parent and Me Swim Lessons!  Designed for little ones and their caregivers, these engaging sessions provide a nurturing environment for infants to explore water safety and develop early swimming skills under the guidance of our certified instructors. Join us for interactive activities and bonding moments in the pool, fostering a love for water and promoting essential life-saving techniques. One day per week, 30-minute Parent and Me swim lessons are for 6–36-month-olds. This water introduction program helps the child get used to the water and see the pool as fun.  Parents and children play games that introduce basic introductory water skills such as blowing bubbles, breath control, kicking and floating.

Splash into fun-filled aquatic adventures with our YMCA preschool swim lessons! Tailored for children of preschool age, our expert instructors provide a safe and supportive environment where little ones can develop water confidence, learn fundamental swim skills, and foster a lifelong love for swimming. Through engaging activities and hands-on guidance, we aim to nurture your child’s water safety awareness and overall aquatic abilities, setting them on a path to enjoy the wonders of swimming.

Classes are 30-minutes in length, one day per week.

Dive into fun and learning with our YMCA School Age Swim Lessons! Designed for children of varying skill levels, our engaging classes offer expert instruction in a safe and supportive environment. From building water confidence to refining strokes, our certified instructors focus on skill development and water safety. Join us to splash, learn, and make a splash-tacular splash at the YMCA

In this program, school-age swimmers learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency. School-age students will learn swim basics- water acclimation, water movement, and water stamina and also learn swim strokes- introduction, development, and mechanics.

Classes are 45-minutes in length, one day per week.

Looking to get some intensive swim lessons in before summer?  Look no further.  For 2 weeks we will have after school lessons.  Monday-Thursday for 45-minutes.

Personal water safety and basic swimming competency will be emphasized in this program. School-age students will learn swim basics- water acclimation, water movement, and water stamina and also learn swim strokes- introduction, development, and mechanics. The frequency of this program will help students be more water ready for the coming months of spring and summer.
