NFL Flag Football
Pass, run, and catch your way into NFL Flag Football – the NFL’s official youth flag football that offers boys and girls the fun and excitement of fast-paced football in a non-contact environment. Kids not only have a blast practicing and playing the game, but they learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and commitment.
Be Part of an organization-wide flag football league that gives members the ultimate flag football league experience. It’s a great opportunity for your children to compete in a semi-competitive flag football league with teams from the Duneland and Portage YMCA.
Our Youth Summer Flag Football League is open to all youth ages 5-14 years old. We will offer three different age divisions: Biddy (Ages 5-7), Junior (Ages 8-10) and Senior (Ages 11-14).
All participants will be provided with an Official NFL Flag Football jersey (specific team TBD), flags and a mouthguard. Practices will be held at the Healthy Living Campus. Practice days will be determined by the coach’s availability.
Team placement emails will begin going out after sign-ups end. The email will be sent to the email address on file for the participant to be registered, so please make sure it is up to date.

At the YMCA, all of our youth sports coaches are volunteers. If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. Contact CJ Peters at [email protected] to volunteer. Participating families will receive $10 off for volunteering their time to coach!
Biddy (Ages 5-7)
- Practice info: Are held for one hour on either Monday or Tuesday
- First practice is June 2.
- Game info: Games will be held on Saturday mornings, and early afternoons.
