POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of recording and reporting the financial information of the organization and the supporting processes; payroll processing; and HR processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in accounting and/or HR and demonstrated success in related experience required.
2. Experience with Microsoft Office software and ADP payroll software preferred.
3. Must be self-motivated, organized, professional and have the ability to work with all levels of staff and
leadership.
4. CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of hire or present proof of certification. 5. Skills in project management preferred.
5. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Membership Director is responsible for driving the acquisition of new members. This leader will oversee all aspects of membership services, including strategy development, member engagement, and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with the YMCA’s mission and values. This role is responsible for developing and implementing targeted strategies to effectively convert tour prospects into members, while also creating initiatives to re-establish connections and bring back former members. This position supports and impacts the success of all YMCA programs and must be able to work with large teams and manage multiple projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
2. Previous supervisory experience in customer service preferred.
3. Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
4. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
5. YMCA Team Leader or Multi-team/Branch Leader certification preferred.
6. Previous experience with diverse populations preferred. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Customer Service Coordinator will work as a YMCA team member and aid in keeping the atmosphere of the YMCA clean, professional, and friendly. This person must be able to supervise and train staff and volunteers and make sure that everyone follows safety standards and policies of the Y. This position requires a thorough understanding of the YMCA membership and program model. The position requires outstanding people and communication skills as well as the ability to work well with a variety of ages. This position also requires a basic understanding of age-appropriate child activities, behaviors, emotions, and stages of development. As successful applicant will have the drive to provide outstanding custumer service in a fast paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous customer service and childcare experience preferred.

The Duneland Family YMCA is hiring a part-time building supervisors for both PM/Weekend Shift and Morning Opening Shift. Please Clarify which Shift you would like to apply for.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Response to member and guest needs promotes memberships and programs and creates a welcoming environment. The Building Supervisor (in the absence of any other ranking director or coordinator) will be responsible for the overall supervision of the YMCA building and grounds. This person must supervise members, guests, staff, and volunteers to ensure that everyone follows the safety standards and policies of the YMCA. The Building Supervisor is also in charge of cleaning the building or helping the custodian if available. Free household membership is included. Must be available nights and weekends.

The Duneland Family YMCA is hiring a part-time custodian.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The custodian is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing areas, including mopping, dusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting set up, snow removal, grounds keeping, and other related responsibilities. These positions support the work of the Duneland Family YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months or more of related experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
- Ensures unused rooms and closets remain locked; routinely monitors high risk locations (locker-rooms and bathrooms),etc.
